Due: Starting after March 26, 2007 You can start submitting this project for dailies.
Like Project 1, the goal is to get the project looking good enough so as to get the "Final" status. If you do get the final status then you will get more points. In order to get a "Final" you will have to submit your final to dailies at least twice. Technically it is not due until the end of the semester and will not be graded until then.
- Your spill needs to be composited on top of real video footage and not just next to it like for the midterm.
- This spill needs to move at least one rigid body with the force of the liquid
- However your rigid body doesn't have to be rendered, it could be an actor that you hire or a table or chair that you pull to the side with string. It can be anything you wish. In order for the water to look real when it interacts with the rigid body you should have a real life "thing" (rigid body) that moves in a similar fashion as the cg rigid body does. This will be a very hard task so plan carefully and keep it simple.
- Your video footage can be of any area of your choosing but needs to at least fill a 10 foot by 10 foot by 10 foot area.
- Any length
